It's a political hot button now and Obama denies his red line challenge and is trying to blame congress and the world. Muslims are tribal and democracy is unlikely to survive in a tribal environment. Also their religion was started with the sword and they have been killing each other since before their religion was invented. If we join the frey will the outcome be any better than Egypt and the other results of the Arab Spring? Now Putin says he will support Syria, but that may be personal just to trounce Obama on the world stage.
