can you believe a 40 minute firefight and zilch casualties. Poor Carter was erroneously blamed for the use of Navy Sea King helicopters in the botched Iran raid. The choice of helicopter was made at a much lower level.
In this recent raid a helicopter lost lift landing in a small high walled compound. Same reason it couldn't fly out and was destroyed. It's not like choppers aren't flying rocks.
