I have a simpler solution. Get rid of the freeloaders who are leaching from society and solve our economic problems.
YUP! Let's start with the farms that we're subsidizing as well as all the corporations that zap our taxpayers with their subsidies too, and then the military could use a nudge off the tit. People like my brother, who cannot walk, and worked his whole life, certainly ain't no freeloader, but city workers who collect a pension on the tax payers pretty much are free loaders.

In December we set a recorded 2.8 million background checks for people buying guns.

I must admit that I contributed to that also. Do you know how hard it was for me, a man of Middle Eastern descent, to get a concealed weapons permit? I have a clean record though and I'm sure loving my Sig Saur P226, I recently aquired along with another AK and an AR. Actually, it's these lunitics out there that have spurred the gun sales, and drove up the prices. Not little ole Obama!

I'm one of the lunatics that jumped on the bandwagon as well, although I restrained myself to an 80% lower and a jig to drill it. When the prices come back down, I'll start investing in uppers. .458 SOCOM is on my list.
Interesting thing about STANAG (AR15 Magazines) - they aren't caliber-dependent. There is a whole list of cartridges that you can stuff in them. The so-called "30-round" magazines hold 30 rounds of 5.56/.223. But, those same magazines hold only 10 rounds of .458 SOCOM, making them legal even under Senator IdiotStein's misguided attempt at banning them. You can even own them in California, you just have to label them as .458 SOCOM instead of 5.56 NATO.

I bought the AR, my second one now, for investment only. I never was fond of the ARs, though they are excellent weapons. I more like the mechanics of the AK, and I also prefer the 7.62 X 39 round. I have an FAL, and want to add one more of them to my arsenal, even if I have to build one from a kit. Guns are on hold though for now, until I go back to work.

As i'm new here maybe we can go over it again..
My Mom and Dad worked hard all their lives served in the military and for the past 20 years have been retired using the free stuff like Social security and medical assistance,and now they are looked at as just free loaders to be dispensed with?
Many people who work hard and suddenly fall on hard times are to be vilified for collecting unemployment benefits? and perhaps availing themselves of food stamps, or those through no fault of their own are faced with a medical emergency that they discover their insurance wont cover and have to rely on public assistance to pay for it.
Theres many reasons for people to have to rely on others to survive the majority of them arent freeloaders and leeches just normal Americans who for some reason can no longer contribute to society and for a short time or long time need the help of others to survive.
Dont mean nto give you a hard time Havasu but maybe a more focused description of who these leeches and freeloaders really are rather than just broadly painting half the country with this condition as the description just comes off as an insult to many who do and have worked hard throughout their lives..
