According to Denver's CBS 4 news station, 4 years ago Obama filled Mile High Stadium to capacity for one of his campaign speeches. Today, he tried to give away 5000 free tickets for his speech at an under-priveledged elementary school. He didn't even fill the school parking lot. How's that for an approval rating?

Hitler ran off anger at first, but he successfully tapped hero worship for the long haul. That worked until war reversals tarnished his stature. He aged like a dead fish from that point until his death. In this equation we find the reason our President seems depressed. As long as his mascots and minions were cheering, he was a hale and hardy guy. Now that this external energy plug has been pulled, he?s running out of juice. This is also explains why PBO?s appeal for action on his jobs proposal has been so juvenile. He?s desperate over his job plan because it really may be his job plan. Unless his on-going and hollow promises of magic produce some near-term action on the economy, he, like so many other Americans, is going to be unemployed.
