My message to my Senators and Congressman:
Quote:
Should we give up freedom and privacy for a promise of security? Should we trust a government that has already proven its unworthiness of our trust, as with “Fast and Furious”, Benghazi, the IRS scandal and now a government that spies on its citizens? Just because Congressional leaders were briefed on internet and telephone spying does not make it constitutional. I agree with the Ben Franklin quote: “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

It seems we currently living in a nation of people that deserve neither freedom not safety as everyday I fear the next report from the mainstream media about the next essential need to give up some liberties so as to protect our safety. It matters not that Bush also violated our right to privacy, in fact it preceded Bush. The NASA facility I once was Deputy Director of was turned over to the NSA to foster its search for “key words and phrases” on communications carried by satellite during the “cold war”.

It is time to draw a line in the sand and I am asking you as my duly elected officials to put an end to this charade of actions that trample on our freedom and our right of privacy. It now seems that the only privacy that is protected is in the abortion clinic.

It appears that the camel has more than its head into our tents, so the question becomes, What are we going to do about it? Years ago I visited the COMSAT Earth Terminal at Etam, WV and one in my group asked, where is the little guy with the headphones? The answer with no hesitation was, on the other side of that wall there is no demodulation on this side. This has been going on for many years but those in charge now carry the responsibility.
