I gotta tell you, this Taliban fanaticism really is humorous. So I'm talking to my father...... an older guy obviously. He was a staunch Taliban republican lunitic, and I mean just stupid. We'd argue for hours, then he suddenly came to love Obama. Thought he was doing an outstanding job considering what the other guy left him. My father was convinced that Obama was extremly intelligent, and would save us from Bush's calamity, which he did. Talked to my pops today for the first time since the election. He had gone totally batsh!t again. I laid out the case as to why Obama was not going to take our guns away, and that if he wanted to fear something, fear the NRA, who actually is a threat to our democracy. After an hour or so, I was able to get past the absolute nonesense that the tea people fill their brainless heads with, and my father, after a long pause, thanked me for being one of the most rational people he knows (this is debatable) and started in about his evangelical sister, whom I've known for many years now. Where she had never so much as touched a gun in her entire life, now she is a complete fanatic about guns, believing that Obama is going to go door to door, taking away our guns, and now sounds like that other guy on this forum, boasting about his 5 inch thick rap sheet catolog, and killing other human beings, all while quoting scripture................ Where do people come off with this crap? This fanatical crap and threats of violence? I really don't get these people. They need to be locked up!

Plenty! He saved the country from going into an all out depression. He saved us from Osama Bin Laden. He saved us from the credit cards and their crooked practices for the most part. He's saved us from so many things. About the debt? Well, if we can get the wealthy to start paying their fair share, coupled with the sensible cuts that Obama wants to make, we'll be okay. Surely you jest. We are still making our way out of the recession in spite of Obama who only tried to save a few government jobs. Navy SEALs saved us from bin Laden, who was pathetic holed up in his compound. My credit card works the same as always except the required minimum payment is up (he should do the same with the national debt which is getting only interest payments). How can we be OK with the wealthy paying their fair share when all of Obama’s tax proposals for them will only result in raising $1.6 trillion, and that requires a decade? That $1.6 trillion ain't gonna save us, if Romney's math was flawed how about Obama's? Chins up, but the head's upside down in the sand, headed toward a $20 trillion debt by 2016.

Well let's see here, so Obama didn't get Osama, it was seals, but Obama ran up the national debt? Hmm. Let me put it this way. Reagan racked up the national debt to record highs at that time, and they were monumental, but the repubs weren't worried, no sir, not one bit! After all, according to them, it was all on paper.. Right? Well Bush was handed a SURPLUS due to the excellent budgeting skills of Clinton, but it seems to the republicans, and I laugh hard at this, that Obama racked up this enormous debt all by himself, by giving away cell phones, welfare checks and crack cocaine to all the blacks in Detroit. First off, Obama DID stem the tide of the massive 750,000 job loss we were seeing each month after Bush. He saved Detroits car industry. It was Obama, and his team, that found Osama, put together a plan to get him, and did so, without a hitch, when the Bush administration couldn't even seperate the fact that Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction. Throughout this countries history, the wealthy had rates as high as 91% which helped fund our power dams like Grand Coulee, our nuclear program that helped us win WW2, our highway system that you and the rest of the country use everyday and on and on. Then along comes the republicans, who start up a couple wars, unfunded I might add, cut the tax rates for the millionaires who paid little to nothing as it was, and I can't believe that people could be so ignorant as to think that the guy from Kenya, with the fake birth certicate, actually caused all this single handedly. Obama has done more for average folks than any other president in years. He's willing to make some hard cuts to the budget, and only asks that the wealthy pay a fair share like the rest of us, and the republicans dig in for a fight. The republicans really are the most obstructionist chumps out of the group. They get off paying no taxes as it is. If they paid their fair share, and I mean an honest fair share, it wouyld amount to more than the 1.6 billion that you point to. All these corporations going overseas, to get out of paying taxes, at the peril of the country that they turn around and try to sell stuff in, and make record profits, while people are out of work? How do these guys sleep at night? Theres more to life than making record profits. And to think that you and your ilk here, play it off like you are just lowly guys making $10 an hour at some factory. Sorry, I just don't buy it. I hear BS, I smell BS, I wade in BS here.
