I agree these laws were a bit draconian, but based on the free speech/expression argument seems like that could include a lot, would this not legalize selling pornography to minors as well? this will obviously be applicable to movie rentals/theaters as well as it it is a matter of expression after all as well right?

when video games were 8/16 bit this was not a big deal, even the best games still looked like cartoon violence but now many games have such a realistic depiction of horrible levels of violence.

I'm an adult and love video games and I'm not a fan of shooters/overly violent games (although I love the fallout series)

it says a lot about a society when it's ok for a kid to play a game where you can use a sniper rifle to decapitate someone (with associated close up action cam) but society will rise up against a 1/2 second exposure of a breast with a pasty over the nipple (super bowl wardrobe malfunction), we have such screwed up priorities. which has more potential to hurt the child more?

still, I came to an unpleasant realization during time spent on image boards with the wee heathen we call children. They are militantly against censorship of the internet and value of that exceeds their sociopathic game preferences. (I hope)
We need to steer some of these kids into RC drone control.
