Somebody want to check my math!!??!!??

Am I figuring right???
Our current national debt is 16 trillion dollars.
Divide that by 2012 years and you get $7,952,286,282.31 a year...
Divide that by 365 days and you get $21787085.70...
Divide that by 24 hours and you get $907,795.24.
Divide that by 60 minutes and you get $15,129.92.

So to get to where we are you would have to borrow $15k a minute starting at around the birth of Jesus Christ, or 2012 years ago.... Holy cow.

Or..... At starting at the birth of the US (236 years ago) one would have to BORROW $2149.82 each SECOND.

Just for some perspective... During Obama's term, we have been borrowing about $3.7 billion A DAY. It would only take around 11 years to reach $16 trillion.

This article suggests that we do the math on jobs as well,
Quote:
How many times have we heard about how many jobs have been added during the Obama administration? Yet few people bother to find out whether these are net additions to jobs -- which is what is crucial.
