Wouldn't it be nice if Obama was able to swap out a couple of the conservative judges for justices more reasonable? Finally, there'd be a balance. Perhaps it would help in changing policies in this country. Maybe this country could be a little more flexible like Europe.

They want us praying, want to snuff out gays and lesbians, stem cell research and anything that goes against their religion, even if not all people are part of their religion. Republicans are about ZERO compromise. It's been "My way or the highway" since the Taliban teaperty idiots came to be. I keep pointing to Europe because over there, people are more open minded. They get to vote more often, and on all manner of issues. Did you know that in England at least, there are no political ads on TV and the debating period lasts only 18 days. Here, the republicans want to draw district lines to benifit them only, they continually limit voters rights for the poor and blacks. They want judges that strike the fear of god into people with lies and scare tactics and push a clearly religious agenda. We're already seeing even sensible repubs distancing themselves from the teaparty idiots.
