Who takes away freedoms in this country?

I find it amazing how the right wing believes that our government is taking away our freedoms, when in fact they give us freedoms. It's actually in fact, corporate America and the ultra wealthy that take away our freedoms. Take Monsanto for instance, who is setting themselves up to control our food supplies whith GMO foods. My father was talking about the mining industry in his state, who drill wells, and suck up all the water, where people nearby have to move, towns relocated etc. Then you have the gas and oil industry, who is documented with polluting our water supplies. Many companies like Grace, who caused a great deal of pollution and deaths, then skip town to leave the taxpayers to deal with it. How can the right point to the government as the sole enemy, I'm wondering?

Your right about Monsanto but it's more to do with copyrighted seeds for hybrids, it's the government that permits GMO foods which I avoid as I do HFCS and "pink slime".

Doesn't government controls mineral rights and drilling permits?

What freedoms have the government given us in our lifetime, try a table of givens and takens as a starter.

Here's a breakdown of the whole scamming system. This is why more and more people are going on welfare. Richard here, is much better at explaining the role of capitalism in the effort to thwart our freedoms.

The government is run by large corporations like Monsanto.
