It shouldn't have mattered, but it did. I understand not wanting to blame a game on officials, but that game was just downright terribly reffed. It wasn't so much the calls going against Nebraska (sans the big roughing the passer penalty and the two personal fouls that were never shown in action or on replay) it was the lack of calls against A&M. It was just really unevenly called. On one play a Nebraska lineman got called for coming into a pile late. But then A&M did the same thing on Prince Amukamara later in the game and there wasn't a call. The lack of holding penalties on A&M as well, not a single one was called despite it being clear on several plays. As an outside observer, it was clearly a one sided game which is really hard to overcome.

While our offense wasn't great, neither was theirs. THE difference in this game was penalties, many of which were flat our wrong. Without all the bad calls, Nebraska wins by 10, maybe more.

I really hate blaming a loss on refs, but when even the national media comments, you know something is up.
Bo doesn't help our cause with his temper tantrums, he needs to cool it.
Personally, I hope those refs are fired and the Big 12 suspended from any bowl games for a couple years.
But then, I hate cheaters, so maybe I'm just mad.

Well the bowl game is set.
Will we beat up on Washington like earlier in the season?

I hope so, but who knows.
Our defense is pretty solid, but the offense is going to have to step up and play football.

What network is hosting the bow game? Exact date and time would be nice as well. *S*
