Favorite ski destination in NV?

I may be making my way through Nevada at some point this winter, and was looking for advice on where I should stop for a day or two to ski. Favorite places to ski in Nevada for someone who's been skiing a few times but is by no means an expert?

Well, we only really have a small handful of resorts, but Mt. Rose is definitely the one to go to IF you're wanting to hit up a NV mountain. Otherwise, drive an extra 40 minutes to Truckee, CA and hit up Northstar.

the only place around las veas is the las vegas ski and snowboard resort...it on Mt. Charleston just about 45 north west of town..
