This link below will help you decide where you can possibly go. It will show you trails and Class VI roads in NH. Never rely on it solely, as things can change and sometimes not everyone gets the memo.

Great link Bob! That's pretty much the same information that is in the NH Atlas & Gazetteer (but the book is portable) :-D.
Couple that with the satellite photos from Google Maps (and/or Google Earth) and you can get a pretty good idea of what's out there. And whether you'll be going for a nice ride in the woods, or simply be driving into someone's back yard! :-p

Yep. Got those maps for Vermont and NH. They are very accurate. And portable.
I use them with my GPS, find some interesting things. And have neded up in a yard or two that the trail goes right through the edge. Hard to see without the maps. NH is good about signs for those types though.

Some freinds and I just did our second annual "Ride Around the Park" the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Great fun, though water had almost 2" of ice in spots. It was cold early this year.

You don't want trails. you want Unmainted roads class 6.
Try joining a club.

Nice, here's the video from the trip, this was in 2006 I think? Dang, long time ago.

A few jeepforumers and family, my first "real" wheelin trip ever. Man, those were the days!

Error of word usage. We only use unmaintained (c6 roads NH, c4 in Vt) in any of the clubs I am with, except private land days. Some of these things turn into barely recognizable paths, and do cross land legally but along the edge. Need maps and signs to know for sure.

Nice to remind people of the difference though.
