Oryx hunting in NM

Has anyone hunted Oryx off base here in NM? I need to know where to go.

I second that applied for off range hunt this year. I have been unsuccessful in drawing in the past but hoping this year is going to be different.

Right around San Antonio NM there is BLM land surrounding the missile range. Go to the BLM office in ABQ (on Montano near 2nd) and pick up those quadrangels. The maps are 4bucks a piece and worth their weight in gold.

There are oryx in that area. you will need to do some scouting to find the best places.

I work for the BLM in Las Cruces and come on into the office and talk to one of the wildlife biologists. They'll point you in the right direction.
