Current Weather

As most of the posts said NM is pretty mild with wind in the Spring. But today, in the mountains east of Albuquerque we had 15-18 inches of snow last night!

I'm on the opposite side of town. In Rio Rancho and I live some what higher altitude than Albuquerque. We had about 6 inches of snow last night.

Here in Cruces, we have dust! I love the snow, but it looks like another dry year.

I live in Las Cruces NM. Make no mistake it can get really hot here in the summers, which seem to last forever some years. The winter has been extremely mild this year so thats a plus, although I find myself wishing for a little snow. Your best bet in NM is to live up in the higher elevations. High rolls near cloudcroft comes to mind.

It's 12 degrees in Rio Rancho just west of Albuquerque. The end of December and through January seems to be the oldest months here.
