My friend just visited and was so exhausted she ended up ordering room service one night. She ordered the etouffee and was really impressed. It seems even room service in NOLA is authentic!!

Love Joey K's on Magazine St. Honestly don't know about their etouffee, but everything is awesome there.

Man Vs. Food is intense. I saw a challenge episode the other night, the first episode I have seen, he had to eat some sort of Philly Cheese Steak that looked like it could feed a small army. I don't know how that man isn't clinically obese!

I like the show more for the places he visits before the challenges, although he does do some amazing challenges as well. On his New Orleans episodes, he ate enough oysters at ACME to fill up a family of 10.

I agree on KPauls...but I'll throw in The Gumbo Shop in the quarter. A little cramped (like everything down there) but always good food.
