Don't forget Mid City!

I always have friends ask where to go in the French Quarter when they visit, they almost always miss the great eats in the Mid City area. Places like Juevos, Juan's Flying Burrito, Mandina's, Ye Olde College Inn (Get their fried green tomato PoBoy) and many others are favorites of locals. Hit a few of these places and check out City Park, it's worth it.

And try the bars on Royal instead of Bourbon...

Also in mid-city and excellent: Pandora's for snoballs, after a hot day at City Park, or Brocato for ice cream. Liuzza's is also a one of my favorite spots to grab an Abita Amber in a frozen glass.

I used to live in Mid-City. I used to enjoy the Old College Inn.

Juan's for the win. When you go, make sure you haven't eaten all day. Also, doing mouth exercises for awhile before you go in, will get you prepared to eat those huge burritos.
