Hotels to Stay
Planning a trip to New Orleans via the train. Any suggestions on places to stay near the French Quarter?

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn on royal Street a few times. It's about two blocks from the heart of the quarter and normally not too expensive.

the main thing about staying in NOLA is to be within walking distance to everything you want to see and do.
