How many New Yorkers?

This forum isn't seeing much attention, are there any New Yorkers on here?

Indiana, but I'm not nor never was a Hoosier.. Born in Fla, 20 some odd hateful years in Conn, 15 years in AZ followed by 5 in Indy..

I'm a mutt, but NY is now my home and most likely will be the last place I live..

I wonder how me being a Red Sox fan will work out with my New York state of mind??

There's no such thing as a single group with the name "New Yorker". There are folks from New York City, the Hudson Valley area, Central and Western New York, Northern New York, and the Southern Tier. These groups are pretty distinct.

Long Island here too, this is where I was raised, although I was born in Seattle and spent four years in the Marine Corps living elsewhere, this is where I came back to.
