Lived in Yonkers had a girl in Wappinger’s falls. Drove a lot in my 67 ss 396 375+hp rag top camaro with hide away lights, when not on my motorcycle in the same area. Went hunting, during my child hood on rout 9 & 9d. Fished the Bear mt. lake and the Hudson River. And every surround lake river and stream I could find, in the Hudson River Valley.
Drawing back some forty or more years. I think the best drive is over the old rout 9D from Indian point through to Beacon or just as nice to drive over the bear Mt Bridge from 9D and go North as I can recall to Newburg.
Oh After I worked it out I took the girl and fled to the Oregon coast in the 1970s. We never looked back.
What a State.
