Places to go for a Motorcycle ride in NY State

I did a motorcycle trip through some areas of NY State last year and will be looking at another Stateside trip this year (I live in Whitby,On but am originally from Brockville, On)

Anyways, last year we went through Ogdensburgh to Saranac Lake to Lake Placid, then to Sarasota Springs then onto Johnstown for the end of Day one..

Day two we went from Johnstown pretty much straight north as the weather was not conducive to doing our planned route.

So are there any other areas we should explore this year?

Rt 5&20 is a great ride. Lots of small towns along the way. Letchworth State Park, Canadaigua, Geneva etc. You can even take detours around the lakes for great views, wine and beer tasting.

Illion, Cayuga lake/Ithaca, chittenango falls area (syracuse), Adirondacks.

It really depends on the type of riding you do, if you like to cruise, stunt, or do twisties.
