Queen City reporting in!
UNCC, Queens College, JC Smith, CPCC and Davidson all within about half an hour depending on traffic. Carolina Panthers Football and the Bobcats for baseball. 4 Hours to Myrtle Beach. Big City Amenities without the Big City issues. Charlotte is the place. Post up QC.
I lived just north of Charlotte for a year. I loved NC, other than MI it's the only other state that I could see myself living. I lived in Salisbury, NC and it was a great little town.
UNCC reporting in! Grew up on the Concord/Charlotte border, so it was a convenient place to go to school. It's a great place, although I wish we had more snow...
We don't need any more snow with the way people drive in Charlotte lol.
and We got the Blue Ridge Parkway about 3 hours or so away
1.5 hrs to the parkway if you go the best way. 77 N. to hwy 21 bypass (sparta) and keep going. spent 1/2 my life hunting, fishing, playing and living there.
currently in concord (born and raised) and love it. i can go to the beach or the mountians. charlotte night life is good (i dont do the club and bar thing though). dont forget the new White Water Center down by the airport. kinda expensive to me but my friends love it and go often.
and i totally agree about the drivers around here. heck if it rains they go crazy and wreck. when it snows they think their SUV is gonna save them...BAAM hit the ditch LMAO!!!!

28202, right in the center.... I love Charlotte!!! although I also love getting out of it every once in a while and finding a nice camping or four wheeling spot too; love the city but need to country and woods too
I love the university area of charlotte. Always nice resturants to go to and some nice bars like BW3s, Stool Pigeons, and esp. The Flying Saucer, love that place. They have over 200 beers to try, and if you try them all you get a plate they put on the wall with your name on it among other things .
Plus Verizon Wireless Amp is down there, live right behind it. Get to listen to concerts right off the deck
