This time of year though I would suggest the western part of the state. The colors are coming out in the mountains, the Biltmore will soon been decorated in Christmas elegance, and the mountains overall have something beautiful to visit 24/7.

The outer banks !!!! best reason you have great fishing great food beaches as far as the eye can see and its all with residents that are pleasent and shop owners that treat you like your a local. OBX is beautiful but im bias ive been going since the mid 70s when i was a kid and now that im older i still feel like a kid when im there.Go you wont be disappointed

there is also Upper Tellico
Like 40 mile of trails. Have not been there yet but would like to try!

Dont go any further east of Raleigh. Theres nothing there. at all. And as far as the North Carolina girls (or at least eastern NC girls)... only if you are not a fan of your girl having teeth.

Aw, now that's not very nice. Not true at all. I guess you're not from NC and don't get around? And there is beaches, Outerbanks East of Raleigh. Very beautiful area.
