The Bismarck-Mandan Homebrew Club throws an Oktoberfest every year. It's pretty tasty!

Haha, if it we're only that easy. Keep your eyes peeled, I know that in the next year or two several micros are going to try to start in ND, and they're going to need all the support they can get.

As for me, I just set up my own homebrewery and bar.

They know me here.

Very nice kegerator randum. I just use a fridge with picnic taps because I don't have a kegerator. Here is a pic of my ten gallon brew stand.

I'd watch for Edwinton in Bismarck, The Fargo Brewing Co. in Fargo, and I know for a fact there are 2 to 3 others looking to start in the Bismarck-Mandan area as well.

ND is on my short list of places to move in the next 18 months - now that I know there is an Oktoberfest - Nice brew club site BTW.

Ooo Sweet! Nice thread!

That's a pretty sweet set up Minotian! I love the view it has! Did you do the welding yourself?

We're not that skilled down here, so we just bought a system and stuck it in the garage. I may need to look into some sort of ventilation.

Thanks Sacrifice, I made it myself. I think ND is a pretty nice place to live. We lived in Wisconsin for several years where my husband is from and he worked for a brewery out there. The economy is more stable here, and overall I just like the people better.

*Pimp message warning, sorry*
If there's any other homebrewers out across the state that arn't connected to the Bismarck area homebrew club, there is a new site online for North Dakota Brewers. They've got a forum and directory for brew clubs, future breweries, and a few other do-dads. It's NDBrewers.com.
