For one day only, Amazon is offering the super fast and "razor" thin Motorola Droid RAZR for $111.11, a steep discount from the normal price of $299.
The Droid RAZR, which hit Verizon Wireless today, is the carrier's thinnest and fastest phone yet. It measures 0.28 inches, but still manages to pack in a dual-core 1.2-GHz TI OMAP 4 processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED advanced qHD display, 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, 11.5GB of internal storage, along with a 16GB microSD card that can expand to 32GB.
And of course, there are the numerous accessories, not included, that can transform the RAZR into other devices, such as a laptop (via a laptop dock similar to the one available for the Motorola Atrix 2 and Droid Bionic). For more, see PCMag's hands on with the lapdock and trackpad.
The RAZR will launch with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, though Verizon will reportedly upgrade the device to Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, in early 2012.
Furthermore Verizon said NFL Mobile will be free for 4G LTE customers for the remainder of the 2011 season.
After getting some hands-on time with the RAZR, PCMag mobile analyst Sascha Segan said it "is one of those phones that feels even better in the hand than it does in pictures."
