Everything is in 3d

If I wanted to wear glasses I wouldn't have lied during my eight grade eye test. Anyone else find the new 3d more trouble than it's worth? Especially when it's just used to add depth to the background, and not to throw things at me. If I'm wearing glasses, I want things thrown at my face.

I think the 3D movies are pretty cool... I went and saw avatar in Frederick Maryland when it came out in theaters... The movie was kind of lame but the 3D effects and CGI effects were pretty cool!

Agreed, the use of Unobtanium is what sealed the deal for me. I was all like why even try, the name tells you the end result. Poorly veiled parables don't make good plot elements.

3D is OK I guess....I don't really see the big deal with it though, if the movie world would just start making good movies and not weird blue people then it shouldn't matter if the movie is in 3D or not it would still be good, you can't tell me if avatar wasn't in 3D people would still go see it.

But you said your self:

"The movie was kind of lame but the 3D effects and CGI effects were pretty cool!"

So if the only thing that made that movie cool was the 3D and all the other effects isn't that kinda sad?
