For anyone who's had it for school how does it work once you're approved? Specifically how is the money handled?
I ask because I need a vehicle to go back to school to finish my auto tech aas and someone suggested I apply for FAFSA to get one and I haven't been able to find any info on whether or not I can actually legally do that. And even if I can I still can't figure out if I'd be stuck buying from a dealer or if I can buy something inexpensive privately.
Wish I'd known about FAFSA earlier if this is true, been trying to get back in school for 2 years now but haven't been able to since the only campus that has the auto tech program is 30+ minutes away.
