I think I ate grilled saguaro in Sedona many years ago.
And I do recall them getting pretty dang tall in certain parts of the state.

I don't know how you we're able to eat grilled saguaro, they are protected in AZ.
It is a felony here to cut them down, dig them up, willingly do damage to them.
They are pretty strict about what people do to saguaros around here.

Most have RFID chips in them so they can be located when moved.
