The whole Vice series is actually really interesting. They had one about Liberia that was pretty insightful and depressing.

I was stationed in S Korea in 1993.
The North had a large military (mainly because the civilians live in poverty) which outnumbered the South and American presence.
We were basically there as a 'speed bump' until reinforcements could be brought in.
It was a little odd being there considering a peace treaty has never been signed between NK and SK (only a cease-fire)
There would be riots over the price of rice in the South, so I can't even imagine what goes on in the North.

I see they have a forum attached to their website. Hmmm, I wonder if they need moderator assistance there as well?

Hay Jason, I bet Keith or Austin could tap into that site in less than 5 minutes. We could be added to their moderator list, and slowly change the attitudes of that corrupt society?

They have it streaming on netflix. The North Korea one is by far the most bizarre, and the one on Pakistan is really sad--the children sing songs and watch propaganda that encourages them to become martyrs and blow themselves up!
