Did you observe here that the inside corners are not "squared" but have the
stones shaped to fit and are "rounded" to look as if a continuous wall.....this type construction is kinda' hard to believe as it is definitely not done today........except in the ceramic that is installed in your bathroom...the only example I know of......

Bob Frissell covered a lot of this in his book "Nothing in this Book is True but it's Exactly how things are.".

It's a quick read. I think I got through it in a day.

My great great grandfather was an alien. He came from another planet in order to capture the scenery of earth in oil paintings.

He took most of the good ones with him, but I do have a few of his paintings in my house. I would post pictures but the consequences would be catastrophic.
