I read on another forum, that during a global study, the US was the country who would work for the least amount of money per hour. From all over the WORLD, we accepted the least... 25 CENTS/HR

amazing.... we used to be such a proud people.

I'm getting real close. Projected retirement age, based on my home being paid off, my wife now on medicare and the size of our nest egg in the bank and other seperate assets, by 46, I'll be kicking back. I'm now 44.

I can't believe even an illegal would accept that Brit. Most states have a minimum wage ($8.50/hr. in OR). A quarter buys you a ball of bubblegum.

I am generally one of the "liberals" here but the fair wage goes to what people are willing to take for the work, as long as he is paying minimum wage I don't see the issue. that is how the economy works, we can't pay everyone a fortune, if there are 10000 carpenters looking for jobs and only 100 jobs then yes wages are gonna go down and those people should look at switching careers and not expect their wages to be artificially held higher then the economy can bear

First, smart investment and a whole lot of luck. Second, an asset protection attorney.
