Because the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas needed a reason to charge $10 for people to use their elevator and bring a younger crowd to their casino. My son recently had his wedding reception three floors below that ride, but no way was I going to get on that contraption!

thing is,i really hope that thing is well made otherise one of those arms could break while people on those seats and fall that long ways and you know after that.....

did you rode that ride while your son is there doing the wedding?

You wouldn't catch me on that thing, ever.

I don't mind heights if my feet are firmly planted on terra firma, but I just don't trust a lot of man made contraptions.
