Thanks, my interest in History led me to collect maps and historical photos. I've posted a bunch in the Oregon section and recently posted more to the gallery section. I think the powers that be would prefer images in the gallery but I think incorporation into threads lead to better conversations and until recently I wasn't even aware of a gallery. I'm on dialup so everything drags while I upload so bear with me.

I think the Oregon state house is an urban white elephant.

When America was still a kid it had a child's delight in the unusual. Places along Route 66 reflected this for mile after mile. Today all freeways look alike as do the the fast food and gas facilities crowding each exit.
