Haha I think you're good to go!

I rode my bike to work and back for many years until I bought my Jeep four years ago and got lazy.

I think this winter I will buy a new bike when the price is right, and in the spring when the ice is off the roads I will park the Jeep and start commuting by bike again.

They make studded tires for bikes, so it's really about how far you are willing to take your devotion.

I used to commute in the snow on my bike sometimes, and it's not so bad, except for the people driving cars like idiots and the salt on the roads which really messes up the gears and everything.

It's just not worth the risk and the damage to the bike that the salty slush up here causes.

But come April....

Yes Austin ... down are apple blossoms ... the same tour ... 50 kilometers to home just behind the mountain in the horizon ...

Here it is early in the morning ... but ... ... It was very nice 4 day 390 kilometer trip, this spring I was in very nice sport form, so this tour brought me very big pleasure and the last 50 kilometers were not a problem, although 20 kilometers of this distance were up. The weather was perfect, I think it was Eastern. My camp places are below.
