We have a 55" and a 42" already, but we seem to watch tv in the kitchen a lot and this is a HUGE upgrade from the crt. An added benefit being this bigger tv is much lighter.

HAHA..yeah, this is a rare event though....

We are at that time of life(kids grown/gone) when we can give a nice gift to one another, for a change.....

Many,many years, it was all about the kids...
(they still do pretty well too)

Oh, I know. I have no illusions of being well versed in the ways of teens, tweens and beyond!

3 boys (13, 8-w/Ds, 4) and my 10yo daughter. Love her to death, glad she's my only one and already don't like my little girl growing up! And I know I'm just getting started.

When my daughter started dating, I would answer the door with my handgun in a holster on my hip...good visual effect..

Sometimes, my son and I would conveniently be cleaning our guns....(no I'm not a gun nut)

I thought I would do the same thing, but then I saw a documentary on a Child molester priest that changed my line of thought.

Many of the kids would not tell their parents, because the father had threatened to kill whoever touched them, not wanting to be responsible for someones death, the kids stayed silent.

I want my Daughter to understand there is nothing I wont do to keep her safe, but I'm leaving out the fact I'll kill someone.
