Well … the middle of the 17th century was the peak of the Turks invasion to the west, but in 1683 the Turks army was broken up near Vienna and it lost the initiative to the west. For several decades so called “Military Border between Turk Impair and Habsburg Impair was formed in the region of Vukovar. I think it would be not easy task to research about some defined family – it was a dark time.

What about Parcsetich de Rokosz – I assume it is a name: the first one is ending“-ich” – it is a typical end for Serbian & Croatian families, but not for a first name; such a family is not so usual for BG, or Russian family names (usually we use “-off”. The particle “de” is not a Slavonic one definitely. Sooner it is coming from Roman type names, Venetians, or Spanish, I am not sure. The second name sounds like a Slavonic one, I am not sure about its pronunciation.

So …. For me the time for relax is coming … Here is my tomato salad (still from garden) and rakia … meanwhile – I try my new camera at the dark time – obviously it works!

The salad will be much better, if in it there are red (not hot) peppers (roasted, without the skin, a little garlic and vinegar – here I put only onion and sunflower oil), but I am too lazy to prepare peppers.

What about the cheese, here in BG we do have only 2 local type white brine cheese – made by sheep or caw milk. If in your region there is a Greece shop – in it maybe you may find it – if my memory serves it is “feta” … it is almost like our one. Foreigners here usually are surprised that we have not a “Cheese culture”, but after testing this cheese, they said that it is not necessary to have other types of cheese, which according to me is only a compliment. In fact I do not like it. I love cheese only in my salad.

Alex … the other boys avoid to visit our pub … I do not believe they have any problems with their wife … but ... who knows ... how do you think?
