I just checked and yes, a UK quart is bigger than a US quart.
Why does everything have to be so complicated?
Yes … the English speaking world did not adopted International Measuring system SI, so it is a problem for engineers. My best friend emigrated in USA 17 years ago needed 2 years to become familiar with it … Measuring system is a manner of thinking for us … it was one of the reasons (not so important) for me to stay in BG.
On my WF’s car several cats (I believe 10-20) are walking permanently – all the car is printed … When I see it, I think that the car is coming from the jungle … When the real spring comes, we will clean it.
Soon Joel will be here ...

It is still quite difficult for some people with the two measuring systems. Makes it hard as for my work I have machines from Europe and from the USA. Meaning that I have to have tools for both which doubles the cost. But having and living with both of them for more than half of my life, it is common and dose not bother me.

Yes … everywhere are necessary tools for these 2 measuring systems … one of my first tasks like an yang engineer years ago was to recognize a worn convolute worm gear in Diametral Pitch system …. A week I lost to understand it is in other measuring system ... A week more I lost only in searching of a manual for this system … ... in the end the prof. I worked with helped me to do it ...
A little SPAM down from me … I remember these engines in work ….

Yes Bob, sometimes i run into a wall myself with something at work. It makes my job hard sometimes, but there is always the internet nowadays to help you find things.
Also some spam for you, one is a old tracktor and the other is my wife and myself touring around a outside museum in Sorris Manitoba.

Meanwhile, how is your name ... I am Borislav, but Bob is more convenient ... In photos I have put in my profile there are some more narrow-gage engines ... One such a railway is still working in BG ... it is really a pleasure to climbing mountains with it averaging with 12 miles per hour ...
