... how does it sound "The Wizard of Odd" ...

Great advice sir, when I have the time, I meander through the aisles and find new to me authors. In fact, I just read "Slaughter House Five", I also found that I like Tom Wolf.
I do have a few Authors that I like to keep up to date on, hence, my trips to the new fiction section....sometimes it takes me 6 months to get a new release in a series that I follow..(like Cornwell) BTW, his newest, "The Fort" is an excellent story and it's not fiction....

What are you reading Austin??

OH,NOOO..^^ I just reloaded, and have a rare day to myself tomorrow. Although, I don't think my wife will be impressed if I get sloppy drunk..

Hey Borislav....Sorry that I haven't been keeping up regular visits to the pub, and are you enjoying the pickled eggs?? Make sure to keep the juice and you can just add more eggs to it or sausage or whatever else you may want to pickle.....

I sure goofed up the multi-quote on this reply...lol

Nothing that the addition of a couple of missing brackets won't fix

I'm reading,

Richard Matheson's I am Legend. In Graphic Novel form.

The history of Japan middle ages. I forgot the years. I'm reading the history of Japan back words.

I put down My classic (Hermann Hesse' Klingsor's Last Summer), so I can start

The Journeyer by Gary Jennings.

I've read "I am Legend", considerably different than the movie, as usual...I enjoyed it!

Would you mind posting your opinions of these reads? I'm always looking for good books, Alex has supplied some good ones, so my reading list grows. That being said, I watch very little t.v.(history channel, science channel, that kinda stuff)

It is truly amazing to me the things that one can discover about history if you take the time to read....

No refreshments Joel. I got home from work, got comfortable on the couch and started doing a little bit or reading. I woke up with the book on my face at two in the morning at which point I crawled into bed and went right back to sleep.

I liked all of Kurt Vonnegut's books. All I've read by Tom Wolfe is The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test and The Monkey House, and I've watched his movie The Right Stuff.

If you can find it and like history, try the Conquest of Mexico and The Conquest of Peru by W.H. Prescott.
