It really wasn't so bad. I did a lot of reading and managed to make it up north to open up our summer camp despite the crappy weather.
It was still a little cool for the mosquitos and black flies to be out so I had a couple of pretty enjoyable days up there, despite a woodpecker that was determined to peck a hole into the place at 5 in the morning. Scared the crap out of me until I figured out what all the banging was about. I had to haul my nekid carcass out of bed to scare the bloody thing off. Five minutes after I went back to bed he was back. This routine went on until I finally gave up on sleep and started up a fire outside, but it's always nice to get there in the spring and see that the place has weathered another winter without any major mishaps.
On the photo below you can see 25 century old stairway ... towards Thracian temple … next to it in a tomb was found the gold mask of a Thracian leader …

Forget the mask. It's not important. Who's the beautiful lady?
I'm sure I've seen that face before.
Her specialty is history … she loves temples, tombs, fortress … each kind of remains … and because one of my hobby is the same, there are things to speak about … visiting such places …
