We went to a mtn cabin. There was a paved road then a long dirt driveway to TWO cabins. I rented the one further in, some other people rented the other one. My wife and I start to go somewhere, and the dirt road is blocked with vehicles from the the other cabin's people, I actually had to go bang on the door to tell them to let me out. Why doesn't anybody have common courtesy.
I thought you knew? It's all about me! If I am asked to turn down my TV/ music then my rights are being interfered with. If I am asked to move me car then you are infringing on my right yo park wherever I want. I'm the only one with rights. Sigh!
We now live in a completely self-absorbed culture where regard for others is secondary, at best, to our own self-centeredness.
For example,take a look at what we drive. We not only have A/C and heating but our leather seats and steering wheels are as well. God forbid our hands and butts should get too hot or cold. We have multiple speakers stereo systems with woofers, tweeters, mid-range and base that cost more than a new VW in 1975. We have Bluetooth connecting or cell phones and cars so we can still keep both hands on the wheel while we run you off the road. And don't forget the DVD players so everyone can watch porn as we head down the road. (I have actually seen that). When someone cuts us off in traffic because they were doing the same thing we were doing it's not just cutting us off, they have committed a home invasion.
Yup, it's all about me.

You mean, I'm the only one out here rolling up my own window, and adjusting my seat with a lever, (remember those?) and boring stereo instead of surround, (and no "woofers"), I do got AC and auto trans, the only two options it has. (the dealer had to track it down for me)

A lever to adjust your seat? Wow, I think I use to have one of those on a VW I bough new in 1975. Hence my reference to VW's in my post, I know how much they cost in 1975. Unfortunately it seems courtesy, respect and consideration for others seems to have fallen away with a portion of people today. Not all, just the ones who make the most noise. Fortunately there are still some who are passing those values on.

I really really really hate people who pull just into a parking lot and then stop to think about where they want to go, leaving the rest of us stuck in the middle of the street until they figure it out. Get your arse in the dang parking lot, get out of the way so everyone else can get in, then figure out where you want to go, dumbass.
