Hah, you'd hate me then. That's how I get off the phone with people when I don't feel like talking - just tell them I'll call them right back. I'll act like I'm busy, or that someone else is talking to me. Haha, sorry.

I am the absolute WORST for calling people back! if i ever tell you ill call you back, its just so i can get off the phone. hahaha

Same here. My wife hates it, she says just hang up if you don't want to talk to them.

another thing that angers me... because it happened today on my way to work.

i HATE when people slam on their brakes last minute because they need to turn into *insert fast food restaurant here*. maybe you should know ahead of time where the eff you are going. a blinker, maybe? next time im not gonna lock my wheels up...

Noobs that don't use the search function

So I was out early this morning, doing a few errands, going to the farmers market etc.
At one point some jerk starts tailgating me badly.
He even blows his horn, I ignore him and just keep driving.
Well this continues, and he is now blowing his horn about every 5 seconds, and riding as close as possible to the back bumper of my truck.
Finally I had enough and hit the brakes, his slow reactions fail him and he hits my bumper. He backed way off after that, and when it turned from 2 lanes to 4 he would not pass me.
I get stopped by a police car though about maybe 10 mins later.
We chat, he asks what happened, and I told him.
Seems the guy reported me, which is odd since he was the Ahole.
Once i tell the cop what took place, he says to me "No worries, I am going to charge the other guy" He hands me back my lic and registration, and says bye to me and my kids which are in the truck.
I just got a call from him, and he ticketed the guy with 6 motor vehicle driving tickets, and says the guy admitted to tailgating me, blowing his horn and being furious, because I would not drive as fast as he wanted me to.
I was doing the MAX posted speed, often a little more.
Apparently his toyota rav4 does not have nearly as strong a front end as my trucks rear bumper. His car has damage, and my truck is just fine.
This guy will likely lose his lic. His insurance is void for the damage he has, so its out of pocket, and he has many points, and over $1,000 in fines.
Somedays what pisses me off, turns out good in the end.

But I ask myself, why would he just not pass me, or at least just follow me at a safe distance.
Did he think my HUGE, OLD, almost tank like truck would be scared off the road by his horn? I welded up the front and rear bumpers myself, out of 1/4 inch plate, and mounted them to the frame with 4 pieces each of 3/8 flat, bolted, on with 12 grade 8 caterpillar bolts to the frame.
I can stall my 12,000 pound winch, and the bumper does not even flex, and the rear is just as strong.
Most people just look at the rear of my truck and back off...........lol
