Can we use City Profile for Classified Ads for items for sale?
Or would that fall under the NO ADVERTISEMENT rule?

I think a sub-forum for local classifieds would be a neat idea. Perhaps only paying members could sell... all members can see and respond to ad.

As of right now, there's no advertising, including selling of personal items. A few of us moderators have brought up a "Classifieds" section to the Admin, and they're still considering it - but for right now, no - sorry!

I agree to a certain extent as well. ALL other forum sites I am a member of offer a classified and/or a member classified section or some variation of sorts.
Some of the sites get FLOODED with ads that take away from the other discussional areas. However, it will bring in the members and get the post'ns a roll'n....

I agree it would be nice to have local and non local classifieds but itwould have to be a trust is a must kinda thing or escrow or something.
