Can't pass up Lake Tenkiller if your a diver!!

For those that don't already know, Tenkiller is a man made lake. It was a river that was turned into a lake. The small community of Cookson used to be on the river. There are all kinds of old home sites and bridges still under water. There is also a SCUBA park on the south end of the lake. If you go, stop in at Nautical Adventures SCUBA in Cookson, and talk to Tim Knight. Also if your out burning things on the grill, make sure to hit Liberty Propane to get your tanks refilled.

On a good day at the south end of the lake, you could get about 10 - 15 ft.

I live in NW Arkansas, but did not know that. Beaver lake was White river and took out a lot of old communities and homes. I've always thought it would be interesting to get down there to see what all was there.
