ENID: Any good memories?

I have lived in Enid since birth. My family has been here since the 20's. We have a family business that my great granddad opened in 1922. As the title states does anyone have any good or I guess bad memories of Enid? Mine would be when George Bush Sr. came to town. We had a parade for him and he walked it!

Thats just one of mine but let me hear anyone else's! Thanks!

I didn't see anything on Enid, but a fun source I use for local memories is Abandoned Oklahoma | Preserving Oklahoma's Past .

I've lived in Enid most of my life (not much, I'm only 21 ), but how about when the fire truck fell through the bridge?

I only have one memory of Enid - been there one time and that was to buy a car - Toyota Highlander from Northcutt Toyota. Seemed like a nice little town though Its just too far for me to visit often and really explore - its about 2 hours from where I live.

I was a medical student at the time rotating at Bass emergency department. One of our attending physicians was into skateboarding. I hadn't been on a skateboard since high school, but had such a blast skating down the sloped neighborhood streets and local skatepark.
