Broken Bow Lake in Broken Bow, Oklahoma is the best. Broken Bow Lakes shoreline is all natural. No docks or permanently connected structures are allowed. The shore is managed by the Corps of Engineers. The only area where you will find such buildings are at the one and only marina and the State Park's Lake View Lodge. Water is a clear, clean, and magnificent lake that stretches over 20 miles into the Ouchita and Kimichi wilderness.
Stay with Beavers Bend Log Cabins every time we go.

I like Keystone. Sure the water is dirty, but it's Oklahoma, the water should be "red dirt" colored. There are two great sand bars off of "Sandy Beach" that provide awesome White Bass fishing. "Sailboat Cove" is a great place to catch a Blue Cat. There is plenty of room on the lake to spread out.

As with any place in OK, hospitality runs rampant. If your at the lake by yourself, the "neighbors" at the campsite will offer you a hotdog and a cold beer!
