Upon returning from a trip from Illinois, I35 was shut down at the Oklahoma/Texas line (Red River). We where stopped on the bridge and I got out of our car to have a smoke. Two young guys, in the car next to us, asked "Sir do you know why we are stopped?". I looked at him, with a straight face, and said "Texas is full and we are waiting for some to come out." He just looked at me with the deer in the headlights stare!!

Tulsa Road Conditions

I left Tulsa, almost 25 years ago, and the roads sucked then, also. Although, I bet that could count as an excellent reason to go 4-wheelin!
