Stay away from Mexi-Casa in Anaheim (Lincoln and Euclid).

Sure you can afford to feed a family of 8 for about $55.00 but the crime in the area is rampant. I had my winch stolen in broad daylight in their parking lot!

Los Sanchez off Garden Grove Blvd is amazing. Farajitos in Placentia is very good.

El Torro Bravo in Costa Mesa is a great butcher's shop, with awesome street tacos, as well as a few "deals" with pounds of carnitas, steak or chicken, with 36 tortillas, a 2-lietr soda, chips and awesome fresh salsa.

They make fresh tortillas and chips on the spot as well.

Matador Cantina in downtown Fullerton is pretty nice. They have a large menu of unique, fresh recipes, and they also serve beer in frosted quart milk bottles!

El Farilito's in fullerton is the bomb and Jalepeno's in tustin is awesome.
I've tried Jalepeno's in the orange circle befor but for some reason the first one in Tustin is the best.

While maybe not trulu authentic, and certainly not commercial...Bobby D's in Orange (Tustin & Meats in the Target shopping center) has GREAT food.

About Mexi-casa - yeah, bad news area. Decent food for as cheap as it is (cash only).

I always go to SuperMex when I go back to California. Love their tacos and taquitos!

I typically frequent the location in Stanton off of Beach Blvd.

Don Ramons Mexican is a delectable mexican restaurant I have been going to since I was a boy. It actually had a different name at the time, but it had the same delicious recipe for bean dip. I know some people who go solely for the bean dip. Their Cadillac Maragaritas are a great addition to any of their dishes.
They are located off Goldenwest and Warner in Huntington Beach. Give them a try-
