Lap pool or open water swim locations?

Know of a good place (pool or open water) to swim without tons of people? I want to get both pool and open water swims in to train for some upcoming triathlons, and I thought some of you might have some good locations to share.

Too many people

There are no places without a lot of people in the OC. That's why I moved back to Boston. The emptiest pool I ever saw was Laguna Niguel YMCA. Good Luck trying to dodge the crowd.
