Downtown Fullerton is a fun place to walk, drink & eat on the weekends.
I agree with this a lot. They have something for everyone whether you want to get smashed at a dive bar or enjoy some premium tea at tranquil tea. They even have a farmers market once a week.
anyone ever been to silverado canyon? it's off the 55 when you exit on chapman. I went there filming with some friends and I noticed a lot of 4x4s were going farther up the canyon.. anyone have info about this place if there are any good trails to hit with my jeep?
Mile square park - fv - biking, baseball/softball, archery range, fishing, golf
The firing line - Huntington beach - shooting range (indoor)
The discovery science center
how about things to do with the family beside the amusement parks. Kinda over disney, knotts and the others. every weekend, i have to search online for something to do.
Swapmeets are fun but buying junk is not my idea of a fun outing.
The Bluffs near Estancia High School.
Our family walks, bikes and rides through this area. The grass strip by Placentia avenue is nice for it's park-like atmoshpere and summer concerts, but we spend most of our time in the unimproved area near the bluffs. The city has added a few trail markers and benches, but it is generally untouched. You can see loads of wildlife, including haws and coyotes, as well as squirrels and the like. There is a wetlands area that is usually dry (don't ask) with lots of undergrowth to explore. The bottom of the bluff has Talbert regional park, and access to the Santa Ana river trail. Talber park has a nice, hidden grass area which is nice to avoid crowds and soccer players, if you want a peaceful afternoon.
