Browns camp is on the summit on highway 6 between Forest Grove and tillamook. Closer to Forest Grove than tillamook

I was there on saturday and there were people shooting at the gravel pit. Im not sure if they were suppose to but they were.

Im not sure if we ever suppose to but we did and the cops that come to browns never said we could not shot there. Its not the best place to shoot
but they have closed all the places were we used to shoot

One of my friends was telling me about a month ago that the pit is open again. I plan on heading up for a wheeling trip in about 2 weeks Ill ask a ranger about it when I am up there.

we were biking up there a couple of months ago and came across a guy shooting a 50 cal machine gun.. f-ing awesome.

I haven't been to Brown's camp in awhile. The last time I was there, a guy was letting his kids run all over to pick up my still hot brass, so I left.
